Lillian Lehr, 90, Jamestown, died March 18, 2003 at Hi-Acres Manor
Nursing Center, Jamestown.
Lillian Klundt was born Jan. 26, 1913 in Gackle, the daughter of Edward
and Barbara (Moos) Klundt. She grew up in the area and attended elementary
school. She married Arthur Lehr on June 16, 1938 at Gackle. They lived on
farms near Alfred. In 1959 she moved to Jamestown where she was employed at
Central Dakota Nursing Home for 21 years until she retired. In June 1996
she entered Hi-Acres Manor Nursing Center.
She is survived by two daughters, Margaret (Selmer) Dockter, Chandler,
AZ, and Ardella (Pat) McCarty, Mesa, AZ; a son, Cordell (Sandra), Jamestown;
a brother, Rueben (Leona), Gackle; seven grandchildren and five great
grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, John, Emil,
Edwin and Harold; and an infant sister, Barbara.
Services were held Saturday at Hi-Acres Manor Chapel. Burial was in
Gackle Cemetery, Gackle.
