Notes for CECELIA WEISEND: Miss Cecelia Weisend, 88, of 106 E. Marietta St., died early Thursday morning, August 10th, 1950, in St. Francis Hospital, Cambridge, where she has been a patient for three weeks. Miss Weisend, a daughter of the late Michael and Barbara Baker Weisend, was born in the Burkhart community on May 18, 1862. She was the last of a family of twelve children. She is survived by several nieces and nephews Preceding her in death was five brothers, George, Joseph, Michael, John and Anton Weisend, and six sisters, Mrs. John (Barbara), Mrs. George (Mary) Schumacher, Mrs. John M. (Elizabeth) Burkhart, Mrs. John (Katherine) Schumacher, Mrs. John (Philomena) Staudt and Mrs. John (Matilda) Haren. Funeral services were held Saturday morning at ten o?clock at St. Sylvester?s Church, with Rev. C. J. Finan, of Burkhart officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery with the Schumacher funeral home in charge.
