LESLIE L. FEIOCK ITHACA - Leslie L. Feiock, age 84, of 30 Sage Road, Ithaca, went home to his Savior and Lord Jesus Christ, following an extended illness, on Monday, November 24, 2008, while at home surrounded by his loving family. Born on February 12, 1924 in Wayne County, near Wolcott, New York, Les was the son of the Late Fred and Louise Bundschuh Feiock. In 1942 he graduated from Leavenworth High School in Wolcott.Les was employed by Cayuga Medical Center for 39 years, retiring from his position as Head Maintenance Carpenter in 1988. He was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Trumansburg, serving as a Trustee and Deacon over the years. Les also served in many other capacities in the church including the countless hours that he dedicated to the construction of the new church.In addition to his parents, Les was preceded in death by two brothers, Walter and Stanley; one sister, Waneta Wood; and an infant son.Les is survived by his devoted wife, Sylvia (Swick) Feiock, with whom he celebrated 61 years together on June 28, 2008. He is also survived by two sons, Mark of Penn Yan and Eric (Alicia) of Interlaken; nieces and nephews, including nephews, Howard Harvey of Oswego, and Alan Feiock of Rochester; and cousins. Les loved his daughter-in-law, Alicia, as a daughter and was grateful for her eagerness to be an around-the-clock caregiver over the past few weeks. Her commitment coupled with Sylvia's guidance and unending love, enabled Les to remain at home.The family will be present to receive friends on Friday, November 28, 2008, from 10-11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, 4443 East Seneca Rd., Trumansburg. Services, also at the church, will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday (immediately following visitation) with the Rev. Frank Adams officiating. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall of the church. Prayers of Committal will be at Grove Cemetery in Trumansburg. The Pall Bearers who will be assisting are: Eric Feiock, Arvine Pike, Roy Flemming, Ashleigh Haight, Donald Schmidt and Dan Rappleye.The family asks those who wish to make a contribution in Les's memory to kindly consider the First Baptist Church Memorial Fund, P.O.
