Fyock, Wayne N. Sr., 81, of Johnstown, died February 2, 2013 at home. Born on May 29, 1931 in Johnstown. Son of Ralph and Tilley (Yoder) Fyock. Preceded in death by parents, infant brother, first wife June (Croyle) and an infant grandson Keith Fyock. He is survived by wife, Carol (Edwards-Knipple) Fyock, Johnstown; children, Wayne N. Jr. married to Gayle (Allison), Johnstown, Wanda K., wife of Jeffrey Bright, Johnstown; stepchildren, Cindy (Knipple- Howard), wife of Kenn Leap Jr., Johnstown, D. Mark Knipple married to Dawn (McGinchley-Phillips) Browns Mills, NJ; grandson, Justin Fyock, Pittsburgh; step-grandchildren, Courtney (Howard), wife of Bob Smith, Summerhill, Carey (Howard), wife of Ryan Chiodo, Johnstown, Ryan and Dorothy Knipple, Lanoka Harbor, NJ, Jeremiah, Kristen, Sarah, and Erin Phillips; great-grandsons, Bradley and Wesley Smith, Damian and Dominic Chiodo and step-great granddaughter, Taylor, New Jersey. Also loved by 3 step grandchildren, 6 step-great grandchildren and sister, Helen (Fyock), wife of James Ament, Lititz and numerous nieces and nephews. Wayne was a graduate of Franklin High School. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean War from 1952-54. Wayne retired from Iron City Sash and Door Company, Windber. He was a lifelong member of Locust Grove Church of the Brethren, Johnstown where he served as a lifetime Deacon and taught Adult Sunday School. Wayne was a quiet man who enjoyed Gospel music, his family, friends and the ?nephews? that were always at his home. Friends will be received from 1 P.M. until time of service at 3 P.M. on Tuesday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, with the Rev. Michael Christine and Rev. Jack Heller officiating. Private inurnment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park at the convenience of the family.
