Patricia Ann "Pat" Boyer
Patricia Ann "Pat" Boyer, 69, formerly of Springfield, Ill., died May 19, 2007, at the Dixie Regional Medical Center in St. George, Utah, following a valiant struggle with lung cancer.
She was born March 17, 1938, in Quincy, Ill., to Edwin George and Florence Tyas Dammerich and raised in Belleville, Ill. She married Earl Lee Boyer on March 17, 1984, in Springfield. She worked for a number of years as an executive assistant with the Illinois State Police.
Pat was a lover of the card game bridge, and she had many great friends she played with in the St. George area. She also enjoyed working in her yard with plants and flowers. Pat and Earl spent a lot of fun times together hiking and collecting rocks. She also liked her pet cats throughout the years.
Pat will be remembered as a wonderful and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her husband, Earl, of St. George; her son, Michael (Donna) Rourke, of Chicago; her daughters, Kelly (Andy) Garcia, of St. Louis, Mo., and Erin (Randy) Nebel, of Wadsworth, Ill.; her stepdaughter, Debbie (Chuck) Ulbricht, of Warrensburg, Ill.; nine grandchildren, Johnnie, Shannon, Abbey, Sean, Rory, Riley, Samantha, Nick and Cliff; four great-grandchildren; and her brother, James L. (Lorraine) Dammerich, of Jacksonville, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her parents and stepdaughter, Robin Daugherty.
Cremation services have taken place. Services will be Friday, June 8, 2007 at 1 p.m. at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Mo.
