Mildred A. Schumacher, 90, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Thursday, February 19, 2015 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born near Woodsfield, Ohio on October 14, 1924 a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Paulus Schumacher.
Mildred was a retired clerk at the former Economy Store, Woodsfield, Ohio. She was a member of St. Sylvester Catholic Church, Woodsfield Ohio, where she was a member of the St. Francis Society and the Catholic Women's Club.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five sisters, Agnes Burkhart, Stella Spangler, Marie Schumacher, Alfreda Smithberger, and Louise Schumacher; and a brother, Edmund Schumacher.
Surviving are several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 S.R. 78 West from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Sunday, February 22, 2015.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Monday, February 23, 2015 at St. Sylvester Catholic Church, Woodsfield, Ohio with Rev. David Gaydosik as the celebrant. Burial will follow in the St. Sylvester Cemetery, Woodsfield, Ohio.
Vigil services will be held at 7:45 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
