Paul A. Stitz Paul A. Stitz, 92 of North Canton died Thursday, April 14, 2005 at Mercy Medical Center. Paul was born in Canal Fulton, was a life resident of the area and had retired in 1975 from the East Ohio Gas Company. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, the A.A.R.P. and the Senior Friends at Mercy. Preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Elizabeth (Hessedence) Stitz in 1995; brother, John Stitz; sisters, Marie Arnold and Lucille Myers. He is survived by daughter, Bonnie (Ray) Keevert of North Canton; sons, Jim (Sue) Stitz of Canton and Dale (Jan) Stitz of Massillon; grandchildren, David (Tammy), Carl (Lisa), Daniel, Amy, Jeff and Mark Stitz; great granddaughter, Taylor; brother, Joe Stitz of Akron; nieces and nephews. Mass of the Christian Burial will be Monday 10:00 a.m. at SS Philip & James Catholic Church, Canal Fulton with Fr. John Warner officiating. Burial in Church Cemetery. Visitation will be SUNDAY 4-6 p.m. at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 East Cherry St. (Rt.93, Canal Fulton). In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
