Ludwig, 93, of Fort Wayne, IN, and a native of Huntington, IN, died Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2011, in Fort Wayne. Mrs. Ludwig was the former owner of The Garden and was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Fort Wayne. She was born in Huntington to Edward and Anna Karst. She married Gorman L. Ludwig, who preceded her in death in 1990. Survivors include three sons, Robert (Pudd) Ludwig, Steven Ludwig and Michael (Rita) Ludwig, all of Fort Wayne; a daughter, Stephanie (Bob) Robinson, of Fort Wayne; a brother, Ray (Georgia) Karst, of Fort Wayne; a sister, Annette Morrow, of Roanoke; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Calling is Friday, Jan. 28, 2011, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., with recitation of the rosary at 3:30 p.m., at D.O. McComb and Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Rd., Fort Wayne. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011, at11 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service, at St. Peter Catholic Church, 518 E. DeWald St., Fort Wayne. Rev. Phillip A. Widmann will officiate. Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Huntington. Preferred memorials are gifts to St. Peter's Catholic Church or the Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home.
