Mrs. Caroline K. Nauer, who had been suffering from a heart condition, wasstricken fatally Sunday morning, July 1sf. 1951 a short time after she returnedto her home at 314 Clarendon Avenue N. W. Canton, after attending Mass in St.Josephs Catholic Church.Born 79 years ago at Burkhart, she went to Canton forty-one years ago fromLewisville in Monroe County. She was the widow of S. L. Nauer, who died in 1936.Since going to Canton, she had been a member of St. Josephs Church.Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Edmund L. Weisend, of the home; a brother,Simon Baker, of Lewisville, and two sisters, Mrs. Lucy Eppley, of Columbus, andMrs. George Brubach of Lewisville.A Requiem High Mass was sung Wednesday morning, July 4th, at 9:30 oclockin St. Josephs Church by the Rt. Rev.Msgr. Ralph C. Kothehner. Burial was in St.Johns Cemetery, Canton.
