Leo Archer?s obituary was published in the Zanesville Times Recorder on 20 Aug 1958:
LEO ARCHER DIES AFTER HEART ATTACK
Leo E. Archer, 58, of 44 South Pembroke avenue, South
Zanesville, died Monday evening in Christ hospital, Cincinnati,
where he had been a patient since Wednesday.
Mr. Archer, an employee of the Gibson Packing Co., suffered
a heart attack while visiting his daughter, Mrs. Mary Lou Friesin-
ger, in Cincinnati.
He was a trustee of Springfield township and a member of
the Eagles lodge. He was also a member of St. Thomas
Catholic Church and the Columbian association.
Surviving in addition to the daughter, are his widow, Martha
Roberts Archer, three brothers, Maurince Archer of 716 Munson
avenue, Bernard of 1133 Putnam avenue, and Paul of Miami,
Fla., a sister of 828 Wayne avenue, and three grandchildren.
The body was removed to the Hillis Funeral Home where
friends may call after 1 p.m. today. Funeral services will be held
Friday at 10 a.m. from the St. Thomas Catholic Church with
burial in Mt. Olive cemetery.
