Mary Rose Hohman, 85
CALDWELL - Mary Rose Hohman, 85, of Caldwell, died Monday afternoon July 23, 2007, at the Genesis Extended Care Center in Zanesville. She was born Jan. 11, 1922, in East Union, a daughter of the late Elijah Fredrick and Cecelia Schockling Crum. Mary Rose was a retired RN from Good Samaritan Medical Center in Zanesville and was a member of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Fulda and it's Catholic Womens Club.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph S. Hohman, who passed on Nov. 22, 1993; one son, Daniel Hohman; and two sisters, Margaret Hanes and Delores Hell. She is survived by four daughters, Barbara (Gregory) Cowell of Chesapeake, Va., Margaret (Timothy) Matheny of Newark, Marcella (Jon) Booth of Zanesville and Rose Ann (David) Fischer of Marysville; three sons, Neal (Barbara) Hohman of Marietta, Edward (Christine) Hohman of Mount Vernon and David (Debbie) Hohman of Southington, one brother, Norbert Crum of East Union, two sisters, Alberta Hohman of Canton and Joann (Charles) Zwick of Caldwell; 10 grandchildren; fourgreat-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 26, at the McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, with Christian scripture services at 7:30 p.m. Funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, July 27, at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Fulda with Father Samuel Saprano officiating. Interment will be in St. Marys Parrish Cemetery. Memorial donations maybe made to Hospice of Central Ohio, 2269 Cherry Valley Road, Newark, Ohio 43055-9925.
