Frauenheim, a long time Downey, CA resident, was born in Pennsylvania on February 26, 1915 to his parents Joseph and Mary and passed away Saturday, November 20th at the age of 89 years. Regis served his country in the Army during WWII and retired as an administrator in the U.S. Air Force. He was a man of simple pleasures who found happiness in helping others. Regis was a devote Catholic and a longtime member of the Downey Knights of Columbus Council #3697. Regis is survived by his brother Kerner and many nieces and nephews along with his many friends. Regis will be greatly missed. Interment will be at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City.
