Wilbur F. Weber 84, of 34250 SR 78, Lewisville, died March 12, 1999, in the Genesis Good Samaritan Medical Center, Zanesville. He was born on Nov. 24, 1914, at Lewisville, a son of the late John H. and Gennie Wheeler Weber.
He was a retired employee of the Ormet Corporation, Hannibal and a faithful member of the Lewisville Limited Methodist Church, Lewisville.
Surviving are his wife, of 61 years, Grethel Hupp Weber, whom he married on Aug. 18, 1937; four daughters, Suzon Weber of Graysville, Barbara Weber, of Senecaville, Mrs. Brian (Deborah) McCort, of Malaga, Mrs. Gary (Vickie) Dillon, of Lewisville; a son, Jerry Weber and his wife, Claudia, of Minerva; four brothers, Roy Weber, of Phoenix, Arizona, Lloyd Weber of New Matamoras, Dennis Weber, of Lewisville, Francis Weber, of Vienna, W.VA.; five sisters, Melba Tuel, of Tallmadge, Vera VanMeter, of Kent, Eleanor Farkas, of Massillon, Deloris Strickling, of Washington Courthouse, Ellen Cline of Lewisville; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Thelma Anderson and a brother Eugene Weber.
Friends were received at the Watters Funeral Home, Woodsfield, March 14, where funeral services were held March 15, with Rev. Richard Wilson officiating. Burial followed in the Friendship Cemetery, Lewisville.
