Melba M. Tuel, 92, passed away Feb. 20, 2005.
Mrs. Tuel was born in Monroe County, Ohio, and lived most of her life in the Akron and Tallmadge areas, and retired as a cafeteria worker with the Tallmadge City Schools. She also was a member of The Chapel.
Mrs. Tuel was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; a sister, Thelma Anderson; brothers, Roy, Wilbur, Eugene, Francis, and Lloyd Weber. She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, John and LaVerne Tuel of Brimfield, Richard and Faye Tuel of Missouri; sisters, Delores Strickland, Vera Van Meter, Eleanor Farkas, and Eileen Cline; brother, Dennis Weber; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2005, at the DONOVAN BAGNOLI FUNERAL HOME, 339 Southwest Ave., Tallmadge, with Rev. Larry Shaw officiating. Friends may call one hour before service time at the funeral home. Burial at Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg, Ohio. In lieu of other remembrances, donations may be given to The Chapel in her memory or to the American Cancer Society. [Akron Beacon Journal (OH) - February 22, 2005]
