CORYDON DEMOCRAT OBITUARY ? 03/21/1984Violet Kochert, 74, of Bradford, died Friday at Floyd County Memorial Hospital in New Albany. She was a housewife and a member of St. Michael?s Catholic Church. Survivors include two sons: Donald Kochert of Floyds Knobs and Marvin Kochert of Palmyra; a daughter, Mrs. Harold (Mary Ann) Schetz of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; two brothers: Orville Brockman of New Albany and Joseph Brockman Jr. of Bradford; three sisters: Mrs. Helen Sinkhorn, Mrs. Lorine McDonald and Mrs. Clifford (Mildred) Stewart, all of New Albany; and eight grandchildren. The funeral was held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Michael?s Church, with burial in the church cemetery. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society. Love Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Violet Kochert, 74, of Bradford, died Friday at Floyd County Memorial Hospital. She was the former Violet Brockman and a native of Harrison County. Survivors include two sons, Donald Kochert of Floyds Knobs and Marvin Kochert of Palmyra; one daughter, Mrs. Harold "Mary Ann" Schetz of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; two brothers, Orville Brockman of New Albany and Joseph Brockman Jr. of Bradford; three sisters, Mrs. Helen Sinkhorn, Mrs. Lorine McDonald and Mrs. Mildred Stewart, all of New Albany; eight grandchildren. The funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Bradford, with burial in the church cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today at the Love Funeral Home in Palmyra. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society.
