She was a member of the St. Sylvester Catholic Church of Woodsfield, Ohio and a member of the Catholic Womens Club. She worked at the St. Sylvester Catholic School in the Library and Office. Preceded in death by her husband: Harold J. Smithberger - 1999, 1 brother: Edmund Schumacher, 2 sisters: Stella Spangler, & Marie Schumacher, and 1 granddaughter: Joanna Janiszewski.
