"WARRENSBURG ~ John W. Cook, 94, Warrensburg, died Saturday at a hospital here. He was born North of Knob Noster, Mo., and had lived in Warrensburg two years. He was a carpenter before he retired in the early 1960's. He was a member of the Mount Zion Christian Church, Knob, Noster.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Fay Friedly Cook of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Jonetta Dunn, La Jolla, Calif.; a stepdaugher, Mrs. Lillian Hoch Breslin, Berwick, Pa.; and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Holdren Chapel, Warrensburg; burial in the church cemetery.
Friends may call from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the chapel. The family suggests contributions to the American Heart Association of the American Diabetes Association."
