Roberts, Mrs. Earnest E. (Friedley, Neva Edna) Mrs Neva Edna Friedly Roberts died October 31, ____ at the home. She was the daughter of Adam and Barbara Jane Friedly born April 11, 1882 near Versailles. On September 25, 1901 she married Earnest E. Roberts. They were the parents of six children of whom 4 preceded her in death. she leaves her husband and 2 sons, Claude of the home, and Ted of Independence Missouri; 1 sister: Mrs. Fred Bohling of Versailles; 1 brother: Walt Friedly of Fortuna Missouri; three grandchildren: Mrs Eileen Merriott, who was reared in the home; Mrs. Leo Bennet of Independence Missouri and Melvin E. Roberts in the Air Force in Texas; 5 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held in the Christian Church with the Rev. J.L. Freeman officiation. Burial was in the Versailles cemetery under the direction of Kidwell Funeral Home.
