Bissler, 92, died Thursday in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ella Gutfleisch of Rt. 2, Alliance, following an illness of one week. Born in Harrisburg, he was a life resident of this vicinity. He was a retired employe of the Pennsylvania railroad and a member of St. Joseph's Catholic church. His wife, Louisa Bollinger Bissler, died in 1914. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Frances Ball of Canton, Mrs. Ellen Gutfleisch and Mrs. William (Anna) Johnson of Alliance; three sons, Martin Jr. and Edward of Alliance and William of Canton, and five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
