Egger, 79, 224 South Main Street, Woodsfield, died July 20, 1991, upon arrival at Wetzel County Hospital, New Martinsville.He was born October 1, 1911, near Miltonsburg, Ohio, a son of the late Albert and Ola Steed Egger.He was owner and operator of Egger?s Barber Shop in Woodsfield and was a barber for 45 years. He was a member of the Church of Christ and a U. S. Army veteran of World War II.Surviving are his wife, Hazel Hoover Egger whom he married March 1, 1941; one son, Frank Egger, Columbus, Ohio; one sister, Wilda Turner of Moundsville and several nieces and nephews.Friends were received at the Watters Funeral Home, Woodsfield, where services were held July 23 with Ministers John Hamilton and Virgil Long officiating. Burial followed in Oaklawn Cemetery, Woodsfield.
