  [S927] Obituary. Magdalena Klein I HARRISBURG Magdalena Klein, 92, of 204 N. Webster died Saturday, Aug. 31, 1996, at the home of her daughter, Margaret Linden, in Glenview. Mrs. Klein was born June 16, 1904, in Bundenthal, Germany. She was married Dec. 31, 1932, to Dr. J.J. Klein, who preceded her in death on Nov. 4, 1972. Mrs. Klein was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Mary's Altar Society and a past president and 50-year member of the Harrisburg Women's Club. She was a re tired schoolteacher and taught in Germany before her marriage. Locally, she taught a gifted language class in Harrisburg Junior High School and taught German in the Eldorado High School. Surviving are her daughters, Margaret (James, deceased) Linden of Glenview, Catherine Klein of Chicago and Elizabeth Klein of Joliet; her son, Jack (Phyllis) Klein of Arlington Heights; five grandchildren, Gret-chen (Steven) Klesker, Karen (Kelly) Boscamp, Eric Linden, Jennifer (Ge rard) Broeker and Julie Klein; and two great-grandchildren, Michelle Boscamp and Russell Boscamp. She is also survived by her sister, Erna Brug of Bundenthal, Germany; her sisters-in-law, Lizzie Helbling of Munich, Germany, and Liesel Helbling of Pirmasens, Germany; as well as her many nieces, nephews and cousins in Germany and in the United States. Memorials may be made to the Foundation Fighting Blindness, 1011 S. Waiola, La Grange, IL 60525. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Harrisburg, with Father Jack Stallings officiating.
