  [S927] Obituary. Genevieve V. Koehler, 89, of Milan, died Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2010, at her home. Services for Mrs. Koehler will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 201 E. 4th Ave., Milan. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall, Moline. Genevieve was born May 9, 1920, in Hale, Mo., the daughter of Worrell Miller and Dora Auwater Miller. She married Elmer Koehler on July 8, 1940, in Iowa. He preceded his wife in death Feb. 11, 1994. Mrs. Koehler was a homemaker. Her memberships include Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall, Moline. Survivors include her children, Karol Pippenger, Milan, Sharon Carnes, Milan, Philip Koehler and his wife, Joyce, Milan; 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Koehler was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elmer; daughter, Denise Richardson; three great-grandchildren and four sisters.
