Newark Daily-American Tribune relating to the death of Nicholas Wagenheim, an old and respected citizen of Woodsfield: The friends of John Wagenheim and Mrs. W. F. Smith of North street, will sympathize with them in the sorrow that has come upon them in the death of their father, Nicholas Wagenheim, sr., which occurred Saturday morning last at 1:30 o'clock. On his death Wheeling, W.Va. Register says: "Nicholas Wagenheim, sr., formerly a well known contractor here, died at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Luella Steinmann, near Aetnaville, Saturday morning. He had been afflicted with asthma for a number of years. He had for some time past been living in Woodsfield, Ohio, but came here a few weeks ago, intending to engage in business. He is survived by his wife and four sons, Philip, Nicholas, John and Fred, and five daughters, Mrs. Luella Steinmann, Ms. F. C. Weisgerber, Mrs. Ernest Barte, Mrs. Annie Smith and Miss Kate. The funeral services took place Monday afternoon. The body was interred in Week's cemetery."
