Hunkler, 94, of 332 West Main Street, died Sunday, February 23rd at 1:20 a.m. at the Star Nursing Home, Morristown. She was born in Barnesville, October 10, 1879, a daughter of the late Lenora Palmer Gersinger. She was a member of the United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Frank, January 2, 1961; two brothers and one sister, she is survived by one brother, Joseph Getsinger of Morristown and one sister, Mrs. Jessie Zellers of Barnesville; several nieces and nephews. Friends were received at the Campbell-Plumly Funeral Home on Monday. Final rites for members of the family were held at the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 25th. The Rev. Francis Smith officiated and burial was made in the Southern Cemetery. (note: Getsinger is spelled two different ways in obituary)
