Mrs. Kathryn Strauss, former Resident, died Monday in Akron Ohio
Mrs. Katherine Strauss, widow of Peter Strauss and former resident of Wheeling, succumbed early Monday Morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. James Woodruff, 301 West Miller Ave, Akron Ohio, with whom she made her home.
Mrs. Strauss had resided in Wheeling the greater part of her life, leaving this City about 13 years ago. For Akron Ohio. She was a mender of St. Joseph `s Cathedral during her residence here. Her Husband Peter Strauss, preceded her in Death 23 years ago.
Surviving are two Daughters, Mrs. Euclid Brumback of West Wheeling, Mrs. James Woodward of Akron, One Son, William Strauss of Lansing Ohio, Two Sisters, Mrs. Barbara Toomey, Mrs. George Meyers both of Wheeling. One Brother George H. Kindelberger, also of this city, Twelve Grandchildren and two Great-grandchildren also survive.
The Body was bought to Wheeling and taken to the Campbell-Wood funeral home. Brief services to be held in the chapel there Thursday Morning at 8:30 O `Clock there followed by a Mass of requiem at 9 O `Clock in St. Joseph `s Cathedral. Interment will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
