Obituary: Elijah F. Crum, 85, of 910 Fairground street, Caldwell, a retired farmer, died at 11 am. Saturday [13 Apr 1975] in Good Samaritan Medical Center. He was born Dec. 17, 1889 in Noble County. His wife, the former Cecelia Shockling, died Feb. 14, 1974. Mr. Crum was a member of St. Stephen's Catholic Church and its Knights of Columbus of Caldwell. Surviving are a son, Norbert Crum of Sarahsville Route 1; five daughters, Mrs. Ephraim (Delores) Heil of Adamsville, Mrs. Terence (Alberta) Hohman of Canton, Mrs. Joseph (Mary Rose) Hohman and Mrs. Jack (Margaret) Hanes, both of Caldwell and Mrs. Charles (Joann) Zwick of Summerfield; a brother, Edward of Caldwell; four sisters, Mrs. Rose Schell, and Mrs. Lucy Reich, both of Canton, Mrs. Nellie Nauer of Akron and Mrs. Nora Kuhn of Richards road; 34 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 10 a.m. at St. Stephens? Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. today at Estadt Funeral Home in Caldwell where friends may call anytime.
