Obituary: Paul M. Riesbeck, 79 of Debbie Lane, St. Clairsville, died Friday,Dec 2, 1994 in Park Health Center, St. Clairsville. He was born September 29, 1915, in Zanesville, a son of the late Clement and Margaret Schumacher Riesbeck.He was Vice President and co-founder of Riesbeck's Food Markets. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Clairsville, and an Army veteran of WWII. He was a third degree member of the Knights of Columbus, St. Clairsville, a member of the Martins Ferry Elks, AmericanLegion Post 159, St. Clairsville, The Saints Club, and was co-founder of the St. ClairsvilleLittle League.He was preceded in death by two brothers, Bernard and Charles and a sister, Mary Theurich.Surviving are his wife, Jessie Sapp Riesbeck; four sons, Mike, Bill, and J.D., all of St. Clairsville and Allan of Martins Ferry; a daughter, Paula Vendlinski of Kennett Square, PA; a sister, Marguerite Pocsik of Martins Ferry; nine grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.Friends will be received today 12:30 to 4 and 6 to 8 at Beck FuneralHome, St. Clairsville. Funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, with Monsignor Robert H. Punke officiating. Burial in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville. Vigil services at 3:30 p.m. today in the funeral home.Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Mary's School Building Fund.
