WOOSDFIELD -- Helen Elizabeth Burkhart, 94, of 56195 Somerton Highway, Barnesville, formerly of Walter Ridge Road, Woodsfield, died at 10:27 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 21, 2004, at Barnesville Hospital. She was born July 18, 1910, in Fulda. She was a homemaker and member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church of Miltonsburg. Surviving are three daughters, Wilma Burkhart of Woodsfield, Hazel May of Beallsville and Linda Swallie of Barnesville; a son, Robert Crock of Massillon; and four sisters, Cora Lindemen, Alberta Meister, Marie Crock and Viola. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; a daughter; four brothers; and a sister. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. today, Nov. 23, at the Watters Funeral Home, Woodsfield, and one hour prior to services at the church. Vigil services are at 8:30 p.m. today. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2004, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Miltonsburg. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
