Obituary: Wilfred Bill Brubach, age 86, of Canton, died Thursday morning in the home following an extended illness. Born February 15, 1915, in Canton to the late Edward and Anna Brubach. He was a member of Perry Christian Church; and was the former Assistant Director of the AARP. Preceded in death by one brother, Francis Brubach; two sisters, Mary Jane Yung and Lucille Beard. Survivors include his wife, Betty, of the home; two step-daughters, Debi Gellenbeck of New Philadelphia and Susan Gellenbeck of Bolivar; there are two grandchildren, Sandra (Jim) Espinosa of Massillon and Meg Stewart of North Royalton; two great-grandchildren, Colin and Olivia; several nieces and nephews also surviving. Memorial services will be conducted Monday at 1:00 p.m. in the Reed Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Simpson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Perry Christian Church.
