Anna Lumbatis Fulton, 82, Altoona, formerly of Cresson, died Sunday in Hollidaysburg.
She was born in Elm Grove, W.Va., daughter of the late Frank O. and Etta E. (Slack) Milton.
Surviving are her husband, John "Jack" Fulton, whom she married Sept. 20, 1997; four children: Gary (Karen) of Deland, Fla., Ralph (Tina) of Hershey, Cheryl "Sue" (Rick) Rabish of Gallitzin and David (Margaret) of Houston, Texas; a daughter-in-law, Jane Lumbatis of Sugar Hill, Ga.; 16 grandchildren: Craig (Allison) Lumbatis, Jennifer (Wes) Leach, Kimberly (Scott) McEldowney, Kelly (Shawn) McGrath, Christa (Paul) Vogt, Tyler Lumbatis, Devin Lumbatis, Chandler Lumbatis, Ryan Lumbatis, Tammy Lumbatis, Scott Lumbatis, Ralph (Becky) Rabish, Bryan (Cindy) Rabish, Richard (Susan) Rabish, Matthew Lumbatis and Morgan Lumbatis; 10 great-grandchildren: Aubrey Lumbatis, Ava Lumbatis, Devon Hughes, Kyle Lee, Kayla Lee, Justin Leach, Jordan Lumbatis, Ian McEldowney, Seth Vogt and Brandon Rabish; and a sister, Beulah Young of Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
Anna is also survived by five stepchildren: Beth (Matt) Itle of Loretto, Deborah Fulton of Cresson, Christine (Jim) Lybarger of Indiana, Pa., Kim (Ray) McCloskey of Gallitzin and Karen (Dave) Swain of Cresson; five stepgrandchildren: Jody (Adam) Conrad, Shannon (Lea) Itle, Brian Lybarger, David Lybarger and Nickole McCloskey; and three stepgreat-grandchildren: Jacob and Ella Conrad and Molly Itle.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Warren G. Lumbatis, Aug. 21, 1984; a son, Donald, Jan. 8, 2005; a grandson, Justin Lumbatis, July 18, 1994; a granddaughter, Rebecca Lumbatis, June 17, 1990; and a sister, Fanchion Finney.
Anna retired from Penn Cambria School District as a library aide. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Cresson United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing bridge, golfing, traveling and singing along with other local women at the Mishler Theatre.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010, and 9 to 10:15 a.m. Friday, Feb. 5, 2010, at Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church St., Gallitzin. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Cresson United Methodist Church, the Rev. Joy Blackburn officiating. Committal in Alto-Reste Park Cemetery, Altoona.
