HARRY OWEN SWICKHORSEHEADS - Harry Owen Swick, age 76, of Horseheads and formerly of Ithaca, died Wednesday evening at Arnot-Ogden Medical Center in Elmira. Owen was born in Trumansburg on March 28, 1930, a son of the late Harry and Hattie Swick. He married Mary Whiting on December 9, 1961; they recently celebrated 45 years of marriage together. Prior to retirement, Owen was employed at Cornell University in the maintenance department. His favorite past-time was NASCAR racing and watching sports on TV. Survivors include his wife, Mary Swick; a daughter, Diane Capogrossi; a sister, Sylvia S. (Leslie) Feiock; eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; three nephews, Mark and Eric Feiock and Howard Harvey; two cousins. He is predeceased by his son, Richard Williams who died May 8, 2005; a brother, Donald Swick; and a sister, Audrey Harvey. Funeral Services will be Saturday, December 30, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. at the Herson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery with full Military Honors.
