Lloyd M. Morrison, 85Funeral services for Lloyd M. Morrison, 85, former owner/operator of a Warren restaurant, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Glancy Funeral Homes - H. Brown & Son Chapel, in Warren.Visitation hours at the funeral chapel will be Thursday from 2 to 9 p.m. Mr. Morrison died at 6:45 a.m. Tuesday, May 28, at the United Methodist Home in Warren, where he had resided since March 2000.In addition to owning and operating the Morrison Restaurant in Warren for many years, he served on the Warren Town Council and formerly was engaged in farming. He retired from Cline-Click Lumber Company in Warren.Mr. Morrison was a member of the Warren Church of Christ, where he served an an elder for 40 years, sang in the Men's Quartet and was in the Loyal Partners Sunday school class. He was a graduate in 1935 of Warren High School.He was born in Huntington County April 14, 1917, a son of Leander and Elsie Keesling Morrison. His marriage on Jan. 31, 1942 was to Martha M. Ruble, who is deceased.Surviving are two daughters, Marilyn Morrison and Mrs. Kurt (Penny) Hippensteel, both of Warren; six sons, Don and Richard, both of Huntington, Lewis of Columbia City, John of Warren, Ronald of Franklin, and retired U.S. Navy Commander Robert Morrison of Austin, Texas; a brother, Carroll of Huntington; a sister, Marjorie Fiock of Warren; 16 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.Pastor Stephen Leininger will officiate at services and burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery at Warren.Memorials to Warren Church of Christ.
