Charles Schell?s obituary was published in the Zanesville Times Recorder on 11 Apr 1931: DIED FROM INJURIESWord was received here by relatives Thursday night of the death of Charles Schell, which occurred at Canton, Thursday night at 11:30 o?clock from injuries received in an automobile accident, which happened in that city on Wednesday. The deceased is a former resident of Noble county, the son of the late Phillip Schell and wife, and was born and reared near Carlisle. Surviving are his wife who was Miss Rosa Crim (sic) of East Union before her marriage, one step-son, Otto Hill of the home, and the following brothers and sisters: John, Leo, Chris, Nick and Alex Schell of near Carlisle, Mrs. Alex Singer of near Middle-burg, and Mrs. Dora Warner of near Carlisle. Funeral services will be held at Canton Sunday and burial will be made there. Anumber of Noble county relatives left immediately for Canton.

FUNERAL AT CANTON Funeral services for Charles Schehl, former resident of Berne, who was killed in an automobile accident at Canton, were held Monday morning at that city. He leaves three brothers, Leo and John Schehl of Berne, and Chris Schehl of Summerfield; two sisters, Mrs. Rosa Warner of Berne, and Mrs. Minnie Singer, near Fulda.
