Clara "Babe" Bindert Stoebner Birth: Dec. 2, 1913 Armour Douglas County South Dakota, USA Death: Mar. 8, 1986 Clear Lake Deuel County South Dakota, USA Clara (Babe) Stoebner Clara Stoebner, age 72, a resident of Gary, passed away on March 8, 1986, at the Deuel County Memorial Hospital in Clear Lake, SD. Mrs. Stoebner was born on December 2, 1913 at Armour, SD, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Karl Bindert. As a small child she moved with her parents to Corsica and then later to Tripp. She attended schools and grew to womanhood in the Tripp community. She was united in marriage to Eugene Stoebner on December 13, 1940 at Madison, MN. After their marriage, they moved to a farm northwest of Gary where they lived and farmed until 1985 when they retired and moved into Gary. She was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Gary. Survivors include hr husband, Eugene of Gary; and a sister, Mrs. Alvin (Katie) Stoebner of Altamont, SD. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and two sisters. Funeral services were held on March 12, 1986 at 2 PM from the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Gary with the Rev.
