Adina (Schelske) Stoebner, 93 March 29, 1916 - April 11, 2009Funeral services for Adina J. Stoebner were held Tuesday, April 14, 2009, at 2 p.m., at Salem Lutheran Church, Parkston, with the Rev. Constanze Hagmaier officiating. Music was furnished by Joshua Neugebauer, organist.Interment was made in the Friedens Cemetery, Tripp, with Koehn Bros. Funeral Home, Parkston, in charge of arrangements. Casketbearers were Joel Neugebauer, Noel Schulz, Robin Stoebner, Elsie Neugebauer, Gary Stoebner and Derold Schnabel.Adina J. Stoebner was born March 29, 1916, to August and Elizabeth (Schnabel) Schelske on the family farm near Parkston. She grew up on the farm and attended country school near there through the eighth grade.She was united in marriage to Arthur Stoebner on December 28, 1941, at Menno. Together they lived and farmed near Gary until 1944 when they moved to a homestead near Parkston. In 1959, they moved into Parkston. During this time, she sold Fuller Brush products and worked as a maid for the St. Charles Hotel in Parkston. Art died in 1984.She died Saturday, April 11, at the Tripp Good Samaritan Society in Tripp. She attained the age of 93 years.She is survived by her daughter, Margie Neugebauer and husband, Duane, Chamberlain; two grandsons, Joshua Neugebauer and wife, Elise, Edgewater, Colo., and Joel Neugebauer, Mitchell; four great-grandsons, Aaron, Alex, Cayden and Anders; niece; two nephews; and many cousins.She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and two sisters, Viola Schulz and Lorna in infancy.
