Elizabeth worked as a housekeeper at Lookout Memorial Hospital from 1975 until retiring in the early 1990s.Elizabeth enjoyed gardening, cooking and entertaining family and friends. Her children and grandchildren were her life. She was a charter member of Mt. View Baptist Church where she was a devoted Sunday School teacher; she sang in the choir and did numerous other activities.Elizabeth is survived by 2 sons, Alan Hoff, Saunders- town, RI; Gary Hoff, Greeley, CO; 1 daughter, Cheryl Salley, Rapid City; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 4 brothers, Albert Fried, North Dakota; Ted, Bert and Herb Fried, South Dakota; 4 sisters, Ruth Friez, Arizona; Lillian Bohnnet, North Dakota; Dorothy Plocek and Bertha Cooper both of South Dakota. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert in 1975, her parents, 1 sister and 2 brothers.A memorial has been established to benefit Mt. View Baptist Church.Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Tuesday April 6, 2004 at Mt. View Baptist Church in Spearfish, with Chaplain Charley Conger officiating.
