Ada J. Schumacher, 87, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Sunday, April 27, 2014 at the Monroe County Care Center, Woodsfield, Ohio. She was born near Graysville, Ohio, on June 30, 1926, a daughter of the late Harry and Wilma Cline Harmon.
She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Sylvester Catholic Church, Woodsfield.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Norbert E. Schumacher; a son, David Lee Schumacher; one sister, Shirley Flauhaus; and two brothers, Gene and Leonard Harmon.
Surviving are two sisters, Ann Queen of Parkersburg, WV, Patty Albery of Newark; one brother, Larry (Hope) Harmon of Parkersburg, WV; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78 West, Woodsfield, Ohio from 2-8 p.m. April 29, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. April 30 with Father David Gaydosik officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Sylvester Catholic Cemetery, Woodsfield.

Vigil services will be held at 7:45 p.m. April 29 at the funeral home.
