Obituary (from Betty Hartley): Arthur J. Kuhn, 79, of Caldwell, died June 11 at this home. He was born March 2, 1909 in Monroe County, the son of the late John and Mary Burkhart Kuhn. Mr. Kuhn was a retired teacher who worked for 41 years in Lewisville, Carlisle and Summerfield areas. He was a member of St. Stephen's Church, Caldwell. He leaves his wife, Pauline Mallett Kuhn; a son, Arthur J. Kuhn, Jr. of North Canton; two daughters, Donna Hammes of New Albany and Mrs. George (Patricia) Cussel of Columbus, GA; a brother Lester Kuhn of Louisville; a sister, Mrs. Edwin (Anita) Crum of Caldwell; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial was held June 13 at St. Stephen's Church with Rev. Dale Tornes, celebrant. Burial in St. Michael's Cemetery, Carlisle. McVay Funeral Home, Caldwell, was in charge of arrangements.
