Smithberger, 60, died at his home in Woodsfield Monday. He was the son of William G. and Catherine E. Smithberger of Elk township, Noble county. He was united in marriage to Eunice A. Blair on May 18, 1908. Surviving him are two sons, Nelson and Ellis, three brothers, Clemens Smithberger of Woodsfield, Ernest Smithberger of Marietta, Alfred Smithberger of Columbus; three sisters, Mrs. John Huffman of Marietta, Mrs. William Morrison of Rinard Mills, Mrs. William Wesel of Marietta, and two grandchildren, Donna Mae and Jimmie Smith- berger. One daughter, Alice Ann preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 9 o?clock (E.S.T.) at St. Sylvester?s church in Woodsfield, in charge of W. P. Gardner of Staford, O.
