Obituary:
CALDWELL -- Emma F. Crum, 83, of Caldwell, died Tuesday morning, March 8, 2005, at Summit Acres Nursing Home, Caldwell. She was born Dec. 13, 1912, in Monroe County, a daughter of the late Edward and Elizabeth Burkhart Schwallie. She was a homemaker and member of St. Stephens CatholicChurch. She leaves a daughter, Shirley (John) Vahala of Cald-well; a son, Dale Crum of Caldwell; two grandsons, Anthony Crum of Caldwell and Timothy Crum of Senecaville; a brother, Anthony Schwallie of Canton; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard R. Crum, who died Sept. 22, 2000, whom she married Oct. 2, 1948; an infant son, Joseph Crum; a sister, Mildred Crum; six brothers, Edmund, Lawrence, George, Raymond, Clarence and infant brother, Clemence Schwallie. Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 10, a the McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, Caldwell, with Christian Scripture service at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, March 11, 2005, at St. Stephens Catholic Church with Father Dale Tornes officiating.
