- [S927] Obituary.
Freeman C. Frank -- The Death Angel has visited our community again and claimed a loving husband, kind father and a good neighbor and friend.
Freeman C. Frank was born in Monroe County, Ohio, February 13, 1888, and departed this life September 7, 1949, being at the time of his death 61 years, 6 months and 25 days of age.
He was united in marriage with Marie Smith on May 6, 1916. To this union were born three children: Carl, of Akron; Mabel and Rosena, of the home.
Mr. Frank was a member of the Mt. Zion Methodist church, and was always interested in Christian ideals in his home and community. He had not been in good health for the past twelve years but had gradually become worse the last three months of his live.
Besides his wife and children, he leaves to mourn his departure a daughter-in-law, Opal; one sister, Mrs. Rosa Devore, of Graysville; four brothers, Oscar Frank, of Woodsfield; Wesley Frank, of Ashland; Osal Frank, of near Lewisville, and Price Frank, of Graysville; also a host of other relatives and friends.
He will be sadly missed in his home and community, but his family will rest in assurance that God does everything well.
Funeral Services were held at the Methodist church in Lewisville on Saturday afternoon, Sept. 10, with Rev. Floyd Workman, pastor of the chruch, officiating. Burial was made in the Friendship Cemetery by Funeral director, W. P. Gardner, of Stafford.
