Mrs. Matilda Haren, aged 78, widow of the late John Haren, passed away at her home on Maple Avenue about 3:00 o?clock, June 27, 1938, this Monday morning. Mrs. Haren bad been in failing health for the past year but only seriously ill the past week.
Surviving Mrs. Haren are five daughters, Misses Gusale, and Clementine Haren, of the home: Miss Grace Haren, of Columbus; Mrs. Charles Slider, of Cleveland, and Mrs. S. V. Weisend, of Akron; two sons, Clarence Haren, of California, and John Haren, of the home, and two sisters, Mrs. Pbilomena Staudt, of Columbus, and Miss Cecelia Weisend, of Woodsfield. A sister, Mrs. John Schumaeker, Sr., passed away a few months ago. Mrs. Haren was the daughter of the late Michael and Barbara Weisend, of Chapel Hill, on Lewisville Route 1.
Mrs. Haren was a kind and loving mother and neighbor and has many friends who are saddened by her death.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday morning at 9:00 o?clock at St. Sylvester?s
Church, with her pastor, Rev. J. 0. Mehler in charge. Burial will be made in the
adIoinin~ cemetery.

Mrs. Katherine Haren, Miss Bernadette Haren, Donald Haren and James Ritzert, of
Akron; Fred Armbruster, Mrs. Dick Doster, Mrs. Julius Ehlerman and daughter June of
Barnesville; Charles Miller, and son Harold, of Martins Ferry; Mr. nd Mrs. Jerome
Miller, and William Miller, of St. Clairsville; Mrs. Barbara Weisend, Mrs. Mary Weisend
and Edward Burkhart, of Lewisville Route 1, Mrs. Minnie Haren, of Akron.
