Homer Clyde Schaub The Canton Repository HOMER C., age 89, of 1891 Walnut St. SE, East Sparta, passed away Wednesday morning [SUBMITTER'S NOTE: 18 Nov 1978] in Aultman Hospital after an extended illness. He was born in Monroe County and had been a resident of East Sparta for 74 years. He retired in 1958 from Spartek, Inc. and then was Supt. of the East Sparta Water Works for 18 years. He was a former Pike Twp. Trustee and also served on the East Sparta Board of Education. Preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Pearl Schaub, on Nov. 5, 1972. Survived by one daughter, Mrs. Howard (Viola) Inboden of East Sparta, and one grandson. Services will be conducted Saturday at 1:00 p.m. in the Gordon Funeral Home in East Sparta with Rev.
