  [S927] Obituary. Mary E. Crum, age 90 of Knoxville, TN, passed away to be with the Lord, Tuesday, February 19, 2008 following a brave battle with cancer. Mary was born July 29, 1917 in Burkhart, Ohio to the late Nicholas and Mary Ann (Haren) Burkhart. A former Louisville resident, Mary moved to Knoxville, TN eleven years ago. Mary owed her longevity to living a simple life and her faith in God. Among her many memories of Louisville she always appreciated the Julliard Senior Center bus which often helped her, a widow, to the grocery store. Mary is survived by her children, Janice Spencer, Diana Mahady, James Crum, Rita Spencer and Theresa Edwards; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Carl Crum and son, Gary Crum. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Louis Catholic Church with Msgr. Ken Miller officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. There will be no public calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mary's memory and sent to 215 S. Mill Street, Louisville, Ohio 44641 c/o the Julliard Senior Center. Arrangements are at the direction of the Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home of Louisville.
