She was born July 23, 1910 in Monroe Co., a daughter of the late Peter and Helen Singer Wahl. She was a member of the Assumption Catholic Church in Barnesville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John George Brown; a brother; three sisters. Surviving are a son, William of Marietta, Ga.; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Helen) Swab of Dayton and Mrs. Ralph (Marianne) Heckman of Dayton; a sister, Clara Wahl of Wheeling; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Sunday, 5 to 9 p.m. at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at Assumption Church in Barnesville with the Rev. Virgil Reischman officiating. Burial follows in St. Mary's Cemetery, Temperanceville. Virgil services will be held Sunday at 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
