  [S927] Obituary. Obit Gladys Schumacher Pfeffer, age 95, of Woodsfield, Ohio died Wednesday May 23, 2012 at her home. She was born in Monroe County Ohio February 8, 1917 a daughter of the late Sylvester & Wilhelmina Glesenkamp Schumacher. Gladys was a member of St. Sylvester Catholic Church Woodsfield, Catholic Womens Club and St. Frances Club. Gladys was the pianist for the VFW Auxiliary for several years. Survived by one son; Herb Pfeffer of Upper Arlington, Ohio, three daughters; Diane Kinney of Granville, Ohio, Judith Lowther of Zanesville, Ohio, and Carla Armstrong of Pataskala, Ohio, one brother; Karl Schumacher of Carrollton, Ohio, fourteen grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren. Friends received from (6-8) p.m. Friday at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home 100 S. Paul St. Woodsfield, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday May 26, 2012 at the St. Sylvester Catholic Church Woodsfield, Ohio with Rev. Fr. David Gaydosik Officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Vigil Services 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
