McMullen, 86, a retired Hopedale farmer, died at 12:05 a.m. today, Dec. 7, 1976, in Hopedale Hospital where he had been a patient for more than two weeks. He had been a resident of Hopedale Nursing Home for 14 months.Mr. McMullen was a member of Hopedale United Methodist church and a past member of Hopedale School Board. He was one of the workers who helped get Corn Belt Electric Cooperative in the area. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Davis Mortuary at Hopedale, Rev. Adrian Brock will officiate and burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery near Hopedale.Friends may call from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary.
