George G McMullen Birth: Sep. 8, 1864 Death: Oct. 18, 1929 9 Oct 1929 Pekin Daily Times "Apoplexy Causes Death of Hopedale ResidentHopedale, Oct 19. --George McMullen, 65, who had been seriously ill since Oct. 7, died at 7:30 1.m. Friday at his home north of town. Apoplexy caused death. The funeral is to be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, at the Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Mr. Duzenberry, pastor, in charge. Burial will be in Orendorff cemetery.The deceased was born and spent all his life in this vicinity. He married Rose Griesheimer (sic) in February 1889. Two sons Fred, Hopedale, and Harvey, Bloomington, four grandsons and a sister, Mrs. William Miller, Peoria, survive.
