Raymond Florian Burkhart (March 14, 1899 - July 10, 1967)
Raymond Florian Burkhart, 68, of Canton, son of the late Simon and Teresa Burkhart of Barnesville and Miltonsburg, was born March 14, 1899 and passed away the Lyons Nursing home with a stroke July 10, 1967, just thirty years after the death of his father on the same date.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 12, and burial ws made in Louisvile, Stark County, Cemetery beside his wife. His wife, Laura, died nine years ago.
Surviving are a son,Francis R. Burkhart., North Canton, Ohio; a daughter, Mrs. Bruno (Helen Marie) Frustaci,, Canton; three grandchildren living (three grandchildren are deceased); a brother, Alfred F. Burkhart of Belmont and a sister, Mrs. James O. (Mary E.) Stephens of Barnesvile; three nieces and one nephew.
He had a stroke three years ago and was partially paralyzed then and unable to walk. He had been at the rest home ever since he was released from the hospital in June 1964.
