Greensberry Crawford, 86, died at home of his daughter, Mrs. Frank Betts, on Lewisville, Route 1, Monday evening, October 28th at eleven o?clock. He was born near the farm on which he died and spent his entire life in that vicinity.
In addition to Mrs. Betts, two step-daughters, Mrs. Mary Goodhart, of Summerfield, and Mrs. Eva Betts, of Bucyrus; one step-son, Lewis Rubel, of Barnesville; two sisters, Mrs. Maggie Lashley, of Batesville, and Mrs. Louise Keylor, of Summerfield, and one brother, George Crawford, of Cleveland survive.
His wife, Barbara Rubel Crawford, died nineteen years ago.
There are five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
One grandson, Vearl Betts, died in Italy in World War II.
Funeral services were held at the family home Thursday afternoon at one o?clock with Minister J. V. A. Traylor officiating. Burial was in the Calais cemetery by the Gardner Funeral Home of Stafford.
